By car from Salerno:
On the Salerno-Reggio Calabria motorway, take the exit for Salerno and
follow the signs for the Amalfi Coast.
By car from Naples:
Take the A1 motorway for Naples. After the Caserta Sud exit, take the
A3 motorway for Salerno. Once having passed the Pompeii exit, take the exit
for Castellamare di Stabia and follow the signs for Sorrento and Positano-Costiera
Amalfitana.

The Amalfi Coast can also be reached by train to Salerno, an excellent
alternative to travelling by car. Salerno is a main stop on the central railway
line connecting northern and southern Italy.

There is bus service to the Amalfi Coast from all major Italian cities.
There is also a shuttle service from Capodichino Airport in Naples.
The Circumvesuviana is an efficient, secondary railway that connects
all of the towns between Naples (Central Station) and Sorrento (for
schedules and trains, www.vesuviana.it).

Naples Capodichino is the closest airport, with various possibilities
for transfer to the Coast.
Once at the airport, you can take a shuttle bus down to the Coast or
rent a car. If you would rather not drive, your hotel will be pleased to organise
limousine transfer

From June to October, Positano is regularly served by
ferries and hydrofoils leaving from Capri, Sorrento, Naples and Ischia and
connecting to the coastal towns of Maiori, Minori and Amalfi.
The trip time varies according to the type of service chosen.

Taxis and private vehicles are available from all hotels, airports and
train- and bus stations.

For those who would like to ride in grand style, transfer is available
